LAHORE – In a major setback to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) electiondrive in Lahore, JUP-N (Noorani Group) has put its weight behind PakistanMuslim League Nawaz’s (PML-N) candidate Saad Rafique.
As per details garnered, JUP-N’s Maulana Owais Noraani opened verbalonslaught against PTI and its chief Imran Khan. He announced support forformer railways minister Rafique during elections in Lahore’s NA-131constituency.
Rafique—during a joint press conference with JUN-P’s leaders—claimed thatPML-N was not provided with equal opportunities in the upcoming polls.While foreseeing PML-N’s victory in general elections, he taunted thatKhan’s rallies were empty as masses had known the reality of the PTI.
It is worth here to mention that Rafique is contesting elections againstPTI chief Imran Khan.
