After the Supreme Court's ruling declaring the amendments to the National Accountability Ordinance (NAO), 1999 invalid, leading to the reopening of corruption cases involving billions of rupees, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has enlisted the assistance of intelligence agencies' personnel for these investigations.
NAB officials stated that a letter had been sent to the heads of these agencies, seeking their cooperation following the approval of Bureau Chairman Lt General (r) Nazir Ahmad.
These officials, who will be serving on important positions within NAB on a temporary basis, are expected to commence their duties in the coming days. Furthermore, it was mentioned that immediate appointments would be made to fill all vacant positions within the bureau
