Faryal Makhdoom, a YouTube celebrity and the wife of former boxer Amir Khan, has disclosed that she's faced threats due to her outspoken support for Palestine. Media reports indicate that Makhdoom recently shared a menacing message she received through WhatsApp, which had an anonymous Israeli caller ID.
Despite the intimidating message, Makhdoom remains resolute in her stance. She shared the screenshot of the threat alongside a message that conveyed her determination: "I got this message last night. Like it's going to stop me from posting the truth."
Like many other public figures, Faryal Makhdoom has used her substantial online following to raise awareness about the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This renewed focus on the conflict stems from increased tensions in the region, triggered by a recent attack by Hamas on Southern Israel on October 7.
Through her Instagram account, Makhdoom has shared a series of pro-Palestine posts and voiced criticism of the Israeli government's prolonged occupation of Palestinian territories.
Furthermore, she has called on fellow celebrities to take a stand against the escalating violence and atrocities in Gaza.
