Cyclone Tej: PMD issues another Alert as hurricane closes 750 Km from Coast

The Meteorological Department has issued the fourth alert regarding the coastal hurricane; however, there is no threat of a hurricane to any coastal area of Pakistan.
According to the Meteorological Department, the hurricane Tej is at a distance of 750 kilometers from Sallalah, with airspeeds of 100 to 110 kilometers per hour at the hurricane's center, and waves around the hurricane are rising to 25 feet.
According to officials, Karachi is 1,880 kilometers away from the hurricane, while Gwadar is 1,677 kilometers away. The Meteorological Department says that the temperature in Karachi may range from 33 to 37 degrees Celsius today.
On the other hand, in view of the threat of the coastal hurricane, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) of Balochistan has issued an alert, giving instructions for immediate action to the Deputy Commissioners of Gwadar, Lasbela, and Hub.
