Cyclone Tej: PMD gives new information on Cyclone threat to Pakistan

In the Arabian Sea, the tropical cyclone "Tej" intensified into a severe cyclone. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued an alert regarding the tropical cyclone.
According to the meteorological department, the tropical cyclone is moving at a speed of 100 to 110 kilometers per hour and waves up to 25 feet high are being observed around the system.
The meteorological department further states that the path of the tropical cyclone will remain towards Oman and Yemen, posing no threat to Pakistan.
According to the Cyclone Warning Center of the meteorological department, Cyclone Gwadar is located 1750 kilometers south of Gwadar and 1810 kilometers south-southwest of Karachi.
It is reported that Cyclone Tej is approximately 960 kilometers southeast of Salalah city in Oman.
On the other hand, in anticipation of the risk posed by the tropical cyclone, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) of Balochistan has issued an alert, instructing immediate actions to the Deputy Commissioners of Gwadar, Lasbela, and Hub.
