Blast in Lower Dir, KP

PESHAWAR: An improvised explosive device (IED) went off in Chakdara’s Sapna market in Lower Dir distrcit on Sunday.
Lower Dir District Police Office (DPO) Nowsher Khan confirmed the blast, saying no casualties have been reported so far.
“The bomb disposal squad reached the site to check the intensity of the explosion,” he added.
The official said the market, famous for women’s clothes, was closed as it was a Sunday. The area has been cordoned off as police began investigating the incident.
