Seres 3 Electric Vehicle: Pakistan's first ever locally assembled SUV launched
Shares
Regal Motors has achieved a significant milestone in Pakistan's automotive industry by introducing the locally assembled Seres 3 Electric Vehicle (EV). This marks a departure from the Completely Built-Up Seres 3, which was previously priced at over Rs. 1 crore, as the locally assembled version now comes with a more accessible price tag of Rs. 9,200,000.
For those interested in reserving the Seres 3, a Rs. 3,000,000 advance payment secures a booking, with the anticipated delivery date set for March 24, 2024. It's noteworthy that the mentioned price includes taxes, dealer commissions, and is the highest suggested retail price per unit, ex-factory.
However, potential buyers should be aware of potential price fluctuations due to factors such as changes in the Pakistani rupee's value against the US dollar, government levies, tariff structures, fiscal policies, and import policies.
Any resulting adjustments will be the responsibility of the customer, and the provisional nature of the price means it could change without prior notice.
Shifting focus to the Seres 3's features, the vehicle boasts an array of specifications, including an Electronic Panoramic Sunroof, LED Headlamps with DRLs, 360 View Camera, and a 25 Touch Screen Audio & Smartphone Connecting System. The interior is adorned with leather, and comfort is enhanced with features like Front Seat Heating and Automatic AC with Climate Control.
Under the hood, the Seres 3 is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor generating 160 hp and 300 Nm of torque. Its 49 KWh battery offers a claimed range of approximately 400 KM, though the actual range in the context of Pakistan is expected to be closer to 320-330 KM.
Charging the Seres 3 is convenient, with support for up to 80% charging in 7-8 hours using a regular home charger. Fast charging further reduces the charging time to just 2-3 hours, providing an efficient and practical solution for users.
