Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has called on all countries to cease supplying weapons to Israel. During his address at the BRICS conference via video link, he emphasized opposition to the forcible eviction of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. In addition, he urged for the immediate resumption of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman stressed the imperative of establishing a Palestinian state within the borders of 1967. He also advocated for meaningful discussions to bring an end to the Palestinian conflict. Expressing deep concern, he condemned the ongoing civilian atrocities in Gaza, emphasizing the need for a unified effort to address the humanitarian crisis.
Highlighting the critical nature of collective action, the Crown Prince called for urgent measures to prevent the worsening humanitarian plight in Gaza. He underscored the necessity of facilitating safe relief operations and ensuring the continuous delivery of aid to the region.
Reiterating Saudi Arabia's unwavering stance, Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed support for a two-state solution in Palestine. He emphasized the importance of granting Palestinians their legitimate rights and establishing a sovereign state within the borders of 1967.
The BRICS Virtual Summit, attended by nations such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, China, Egypt, Russia, Brazil, India, South Africa, Argentina, Ethiopia, and Iran, witnessed discussions on these critical issues. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres was also present at the summit.
