Shoaib Malik, the former captain and seasoned all-rounder of Pakistan, is staging a return to domestic cricket by representing the Sialkot Region in the National T20 Cup after a considerable absence.
With an eye on the 2024 T20 World Cup, Malik aims to rejoin the national cricket team by emphasizing strong performances in domestic cricket. The 42-year-old Malik, known for his past success in leading his team to numerous tournament victories, will captain the Sialkot Region in the upcoming National T20 Cup.
Additionally, he will participate in a practice match ahead of the domestic T20 cup. As the league stage of the National T20 Cup 2023 is scheduled to commence on November 24 in Karachi, featuring the first match between Lahore Region and Peshawar Region, the subsequent Super 8 stage will unfold from December 1 to 10.
