PTI Chairman Imran Khan faces another First Information Report (FIR) in Mianwali, where the report was lodged at the City Police Station. Former MNA Amjad Ali Khan is implicated in the same case.
The FIR, initiated based on a complaint by citizen Saeedullah, alleges a financial dispute with the ex-prime minister in 2016. According to the application, Rs5 million was allegedly misappropriated and directed to Namal University on Imran Khan's instructions.
The complainant claimed lack of a receipt and reliance on verbal assurance. The case is registered under Section 406 of the PPC. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court postponed hearings on Imran Khan's appeal in the cipher case, allowing amendments to the petition following a recent Islamabad High Court decision.
