LAHORE: Senior Minister Punjab,Abdul Aleem Khan on Thursday said new local bodies system would be based
upon the objective to resolve peoples' problems at local level.
"This system will deliver to the masses and provide them quick relief as promised by the Prime Minister Imran Khan," he added.
Talking to various delegations which called him at his office here,the Senior minister said PTI government was striving hard to overcome prevailing economic issues which it inherited from its predecessor. "Previous PML-N government had broken all records of country's history by taking US $ 38 billion loan in five years," he said.
He said arrest of any person over corruption will not have bearing on the national economy,adding,none should have any sympathy with such culprits nor spread any false notion.
Aleem Khan said the action on 100 days plans was being speedily implementing and added that after its completion each department would show much improved performance.
The Punjab government, he said, was moving in the right direction, adding it had taken concrete steps to bring neglected cities of the province at par with the developed ones.
Senior Minister said Prime Minister Imran Khan is an honest and hard working man and through his visionary policies he would transform Pakistan into a developed country.
