Pakistani arrested through Interpol from Dubai over red warrants

SARGODHA: The district police, on the direction of DPO Muhammad Sohail Choudhary, have arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) through Interpol from Dubai.
A police spokesman said on Tuesday that Tahir Mehboob of Buchha Kalan Tehsil Bhalwal along with his accomplice Yasir Arafat had murdered a young man Tasawwar Ali in 2014. Police had arrested the co-accused Yasir Arafat while Thair Mehboob had fled abroad.
SHO Bhalwal City Farooq Hasnaat along with police team arrested the said PO through Interpol from Dubai.
Police further said that district police had released red warrant of 35 proclaimed offenders of which 12 have been arrested so far.
