Nawaz Sharif in trouble yet again as Supreme Court allows petition against Election Act 2017

ISLAMABAD - Chief Justice of Pakistan has dismissed Registrar's objections on pleas challenging Election Act 2107.
CJP Saqib Nisar conducted in-chamber hearings on application submitted by Awami Muslim League (AML) Chairman Sheikh Rashid, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, PPP leader Jamshed Dasti and nine other parties.
After hearings, the CJP ordered ordered registrar to set dates for hearing for these applications.
The PTI Chairman has also challenged Election Act Reforms 2017. He has requested the top court to null and void Articles 9, 10 and 203 of the reformed act under which Nawaz Sharif got constitutional cover to become PML-N chief again.
