PTI leader Shireen Mazari faces a setback from LHC

The Lahore High Court on Wednesday rejected former human rights minister and PTI leader Shireen Mazari’s plea seeking court order to restrain authorities from harassing her and taking any punitive action against her.
Fearing her arrest, the former human rights minister filed an application in the Lahore High Court seeking detail of cases registered against her. She also pleaded with the court to restrain the Federal Investigation Agency and police from harassing and taking punitive action against her.
However, the court rejected her petition for restraining authorities to take action against her. It ordered the concerned officials to take action as per the law.
The court also sought replies from the FIA DG, Punjab IG police and other respondents till March 27.
