Pakistan supports peaceful, stable Afghanistan: Qureshi

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Pakistan supports a peaceful and stable Afghanistan.
Addressing inaugural session of a conference on Afghanistan titled Lahore Process at Bhurbhan, Murree, today, he said peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan is in the interest of the region.
The Minister said Pakistan has been playing its due role for resolution of the Afghan conflict.
He said Pakistan is supporting the Afghan peace process following the principles of mutual respect and non-interference.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the Afghan issue has no military solution and the conflict can only be resolved through political process.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the common enemies of Pakistan and Afghanistan have harmed the bilateral relations. He said the two countries need to take measures to build mutual trust getting out of the environment of blame game.
He said Pakistan and Afghanistan should not let anyone use their land against each other.
The Minister said Pakistan has been hosting millions of Afghan refugees for four decades.
