Pakistan opening batsman Abid Ali vows to make it to national cricket team

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan opening batsman Abid Ali is eager to improve his fitness and make it into the national cricket team.
The international cricketer has started working on fitness restoration and is engaged in strict training at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) under the supervision of NCA coaching staff.
Abid said that he is optimistic for making a return into the national team, as the upcoming season of the national team is especially busy. He added that he, however, will perform well whenever gotten the opportunity.
Speaking about his selection, Abid, who has represented Pakistan in three One Day Internationals (ODI) hitting a century on debut against Australia, said that his work is to keep himself fit and show the form, whereas choosing him or not depends on the selectors.
