Mian Tariq: Main suspect of the alleged video of Arshad Malik sent on judicial remand

*ISLAMABAD – Mian Tariq, the main suspect who made the alleged video of judge Arshad Malik, on Monday has been sent to jail on 14-day judicial remand.*
Tariq was presented before the court of Judicial Magistrate Shaista Kundi. The plea of physical remand of the suspect was rejected by the judge and was sent to jail on judicial remand of 14 days.
“I am patient of brain tumor and will die in the jail,” he informed the court during the hearing. The civil judge directed the jail authorities to provide all medical facilities to the accused.
On July 20, the FIA raided the residential properties of Mian Tariq Mehmood, the principle accused in judge video scandal, and his brothers in Multan. The FIA officials seized record during raids and also quizzed family members of Tariq and his brothers.
*Cybercrime wing of FIA* link had lodged an first information report (FIR) against arrested main suspect Mian Tariq, others in Judge Arshad Malik’s video scandal.
The FIR has been registered against Mian Tariq and others on the complaint of Judge Arshad Malik in the cybercrime wing. In the FIR, it states that the video shown by PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz in a press conference was tampered and electronic forged.
It also states that the meeting with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his son Hussain Nawaz Was conducted by blackmailer.
In the FIR, the petitioner adopted a stance that Mian Tariq gave him drug mixed food and recorded an immoral video which was sold to PML-N leader before some month. The PML-N leader blackmailed him on behalf of video.
