Power tariff reduced for agri consumers

FAISALABAD (APP): Power tariff for agriculture consumers has been reduced from Rs 8.85 to Rs 5.35 per unit.
This was disclosed by Spokesman Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) Tahir Sheikh here Thursday.
He said this rate would be applicable during off peak hours and only the agri consumers could avail this facility who were not FESCO defaulters and would deposit their electricity bills regularly.
He said that reduction in power tariff would be available by June 30, 2017, however, the peak hours electricity rates would be Rs 10.35.
