KABUL - Over 40 Afghan Taliban militants and commanders surrender and join peace process.
In Afghanistan , 40 Taliban militants have surrendered to Afghan National Army in Ghor province amid military pressure in the mountainous region.
Afghan Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the latest surrendering came as a joint cleanup and search operation conducted.
Operations were conducted by Afghan army, police and intelligence agency personnel has been continuing in Shahrak.
