President expresses desire to work with Afghanistan for regional peace

President Mamnoon Hussain says Pakistan wants to have friendly relations with all the neighboring countries for prosperity and development in the region.
Talking to students of Cadet College Hasanabdal in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said Pakistan wants to have good relations with India but it should also extend cooperation in this regard.
He said that Pakistan regards Afghanistan as its sincere friend and is keen to work with it for peace, progress and prosperity in the country and Afghanistan should reject elements trying to create misgivings and misunderstandings. He stated that peace in the region is linked with peace in Afghanistan.
The President said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project is a monument of this century which will change the fate of the region and Pakistan is keen to include all its neighboring countries in the path to progress and development.
Talking about Kashmir issue, Mamnoon Hussain said the sacrifices rendered by the new generation in held Kashmir have given fresh impetus to freedom struggle.
He said that Kashmir issue should be resolved in accordance with the resolutions of United Nations.
The President said that focus should also be paid on moral training of the youth along-with education to attain national progress. He urged that the new generation should promote national culture and identity.
The President said that Cadet College Hasanabdal is playing an important role in imparting quality education and training to the determined youth for the defense and service of motherland.
