Punjab government appoints new political assistants to Chief Minister

Punjab government has appointed four additional assistants to Chief Minister Pervez Elahi. As per the notification, Sara Ahmad, Haq Nawaz, Umar Iftikhar, and Irfan Ahsaan are appointed as political link to CM.
Earlier in the day, Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi along with his son called on PTI Chairman Imran Khan at Bani Gala to discuss the current political link situation and social welfare programs in Punjab.
Elahi congratulated Khan on the Karachi NA-245 by-election victory.
While Imran Khan urged the provincial chief executive to expedite relief work in the flood-hit areas of South Punjab.
