*Qurbani* on Eidul Azha is a recommended practice for Muslims. Muslims across the globe sacrifice sheep, cows and camels for God’s pleasure. In India, *Qurbani* becomes controversial every year because cows are revered by Hindus as sacred animals and mass sacrifice of cows is hurtful to the sentiments of the Hindu majority.
