Afghan forces kill 9 militants, rescue 10 from Taliban detention

KABUL: In Afghanistan, nine Taliban were killed and many others injured when Afghan security forces stormed a Taliban hideout in Qarabagh district of the eastern Ghazni province today.
The spokesman for provincial government Aref Nuri said security forces also set free ten hostages kept by the Taliban in a container in Fatihullah village.
