Anti-Polio drive in 15 district of Punjab postpones

LAHORE: Anti-Polio drive has been postponed in 15 districts of Punjab due to security concerns after the attack of policemen in Karachi, deployed on the security of polio workers.
As per details, Anti-Polio drive, schedule on April 25 has been cancelled over the security threats in 15 districts of Punjab now high-level meeting would be held to review the security of polio workers in Punjab.
Anti-Polio campaign would be started from May 2 instead of April 25 after ensuring the foolproof security of polio teams. Polio drive would continue for two days from May 2 to 4.
It is also worthy to mention here that 7 policemen had been gunned down, deployed on security of polio workers in Orangi Town, Karachi couple of days ago.
