Yet another Aircraft of Indian Navy crashes in Gujrat

PORBANDAR: In yet another case of poor mantainace of Indian Armed Forcesarsenal another aircraft of the Indian Navy has crashed today taking thetally to three aircrafts crashed in India in last few days.

A Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) of the Indian Navy crashed on Thursdaysoon after taking off from Porbandar in Gujarat. The crash took place closeto the air base in Ulhasnagar area of Gujarat’s Porbandar at around 10 amon Thursday. Indian Navy confirmed that there have been no injuries in thecrash.

The Indian Navy also said that preliminary inputs indicate failure of theengine of the RPA.

“The aircraft crashed in an open area of an ice factory. As the RPVcrashed, it caught fire and fire brigade personnel were alerted,” PorbandarSuperintendent of Police Sobha Bhutda said.
