ANKARA – Turkey’s state-run news agency says ,Turkish jets have attackedsuspected Kurdish rebel camps across the border in northern Iraq and killednine militants today.

Anadolu Agency said the attack occurred after drones detected a group ofmilitants allegedly preparing to launch an attack against Turkey.

Turkey already warned this week that its military may mount an offensiveagainst the terrorists in Sinjar region if the Iraqi government does notact against the group.
