ISLAMABAD – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said that he wasready work with everyone for the supremacy of constitution as he hasnothing to do with any institution.
Talking to media outside accountability court on Thursday, he said thatdespite working hard for the country’s development, the NationalAccountability Bureau (NAB) proposed inclusion of his name in the ExitControl List (ECL).
The man who was behind nuclear tests in 1998, eradicated loadshedding andrestored cricket in the country was standing in the court, he added.
“I have nothing to do with any institution and I am ready to sit and workfor the supremacy of law and constitution,” Nawaz said.
Nawaz Said that Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal BhuttoZardari was wrong that the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)backtracked from the Charter of Democracy.
The ex-PM asked that wasn’t it a more severe crime that a former chiefjustice Iftikhar Chaudhry was held under house arrest and the dragged outof the house by the police, adding that no one could do anything to formerpresident Pervez Musharraf.
