QALAT – Five people, including security forces, have been killed and sixothers wounded in roadside blasts and Taliban attack in southern Zabulprovince, an official said on Thursday

Police Chief Col. Ghulam Jailani told Pajhwok Afghan News two people werekilled and one injured in a roadside blast in the Kam Karez area of Storedistrict on Thursday morning.

He said security forces had evacuated the injured civilian to the hospitalfor treatment.

Separately, one Afghan Local Police (ALP) personnel has been killed and twoothers injured in the Taliban attack on their check-post on Wednesdaynight, he said.

Jailani added army soldiers’ vehicle going for the help of attacked localsecurity personnel struck a roadside bomb in which soldiers had been killedand as many injured.
