Good News for the Overseas Pakistanis from Saudi Arabia

The Saudi government has released good news for private sector employees, as there has been a significant increase in the minimum wage, which has brought smiles to the faces of both local and expatriate citizens including Pakistanis.
According to the report from an international news agency, the minimum wage for private sector employees in Saudi Arabia was 3,200 riyals (approximately 263,000 rupees), but it has now been raised to 4,000 riyals (approximately 328,000 rupees).
This increase has been initiated by the Human Resources Development Fund and came into effect on September 5, 2023. Employees will now receive higher salaries. In a statement issued by the fund authorities, it is mentioned that the purpose of this wage increase is to boost the morale of citizens for employment in the private sector
