SUKKHUR - Former Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah faces blow over alleged Rs 500 billion corruption case. An accountability court on Monday extended the physical remand of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Syed Khursheed Shah in assets beyond income case till Novembr 4.
The senior leader was produced before an accountability court amid tight security. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) pleaded a 15-day extension in Khursheed Shah’s physical remand.
The court extended the physical remand of the PPP leader for another 15 days and ordered to be produced before the court on November 4.
On September 18, NAB arrested Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Syed Khursheed Shah in assets beyond known source of income case.
As per details garnered, NAB Rawalpindi and NAB Sukkur jointly carried the raid to arrest Shah. The PPP stalwart was arrested from his house in Bani Gala.
Shah is facing charges of making assets amounting to Rs500 billion through illicit means.
