Lashkar-e-Jhangvi militants arrested by Frontier Corps

QUETTA (APP): The Frontier Corps Balochistan arrested three alleged militants during search operation carried out in Quetta, Kalat and Pishin areas of the province, on Sunday.

A spokesman for FC said here that following intelligence information, FC teams launched search operation in several areas of the province and arrested three suspected militants from Quetta, Kalat and Pishin districts.
"A suspect has been taken into custody from Killi Geo area of Quetta city who allegedly has relations with banned militant organization, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi," he said. He further said that FC personnel launched search operation in Kalat and arrested a suspected militant from a hotel on National Highway, adding that mortar tripod, four mortar rounds and fuzes were seized from the suspect.
The FC mouthpiece said that FC also carried out search operation in bazaar in Pishin where a suspect was held who allegedly has his relations with banned militant organization, Tehreek Taliban Pakistan.

The FC special investigation teams have been interrogating the suspects. Further probe was underway.
