Zahid Hamid appointed as Federal Minister for Climate Change

ISLAMABAD: Zahid Hamid has been appointed as Federal Minister for Climate Change after the notification of government. He took oath in a ceremony which was held in presidency in Islamabad.
President Mamnoon Hussain took oath form Zahid Hamid. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, parliamentarians and other high officials were also present in the ceremony.
Zahid Hamid had to resign from the law ministry after the special court ordered to include his name in the names of abettors in former President Pervaiz Musharaf treason case. Zahid had been nominated by the court as a co accused in Pervaiz Musharaf treason case.
