Punjab Health Minister reviews provision of medicines to hepatitis patients

A high meeting chaired by Punjab Minister for Health Dr Yasmin Rashid in Lahore today reviewed provision of medicines to hepatitis patients.
Addressing the meeting, the Provincial Minister directed DG Health Services Punjab and all Chief Executive Officers of government hospitals to personally monitor the services and medicines being provided to patients of hepatitis.
She said that enough stock of medicine is available for treatment of hepatitis patients.
She said that one hundred and sixty thousand patients are being treated in government hospitals across the province.
Dr Yasmin Rashid said that an awareness campaign has already been started for treatment of hepatitis patients.
