Federal Govt to allocate Rs.5b for facilities along LoC

Federal government has decided to allocate 5 billion rupees for the provision of facilities in the areas along with the Line of Control in Azad Jammu Kashmir.
Priority sectors are missing health facilities, rural access roads, shell-proof community bunkers and creation of Disaster Management infrastructure.
A stakeholders’ meeting was held the other day regarding implementation methodology, the establishment of the Project Coordination Unit (PCU) and the formulation of Project Document (PC-1) for LoC.
