Complete shutdown in Occupied Kashmir

SRINAGAR - In Occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed in memory of Molvi Muhammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone, Hawal and other Kashmiri martyrs.

The shutdown call was given by Hurriyet leadership to commemorate the martyrdom anniversaries of Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq, martyrs of 1990 Hawal massacre and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone.

Meanwhile, the occupation authorities imposed strict restrictions in different parts of Srinagar today, to prevent a march towards martyrs’ graveyard at Eidgah in the city.

The authorities also ordered closure of all educational institutes, today.

As per Awami Action Committee’s statement, a rally is scheduled from Jamia Masjid to Eidgah to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Hawal massacre.
