Zalmay Khalilzad to meet top diplomats of China, Russia, EU in Washington today

The US Special Representative for Afghanistan, Zalmay Khalilzad, is meeting the diplomats of China, Russia and the European Union at Washington today to apprise them about the results of his recent talks with the Taliban in Qatar.
According to a statement of the US State Department, the meeting will also discuss international support for the Afghan peace process and the role each party in bringing an end to the war in Afghanistan.
Russia's presidential envoy to Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov, Chinese presidential envoy to Afghanistan Deng Xijun and EU's special envoy Roland Kobia will also participate in the meeting.
