ISLAMABAD:The United States says Pakistan has taken some positive steps in the right direction in crack down on terrorist groups.
This was stated by State Department spokesperson, Heather Nauert in a press briefing in Washington. APP
She said US Vice President Mike Pence and Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi during their meeting in Washington last week exchanged views on US South Asia strategy.
The spokesperson said Pakistan can play a critical role in bringing Afghan Taliban to the negotiation table.
