US Counsel General discusses matters of bilateral interest with CM Shahbaz Sharif

LAHORE: US Counsel General Zachary Harkenrider called on Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore here at Monday and discussed affairs relating to mutual interest in the meeting.
As per details, both dignitaries exchanged views over the Pak-US relations and agreed to further strengthen bilateral ties between both countries. Both also agreed to enhance cooperation in different fields including energy sector.
Speaking at the occasion, CM Shahbaz said that Pakistan gives a lot of importance to relations with US while both countries ties are based on multilateral relations.
He further added that government is making all possible efforts for the progress of Pakistan because we want to make Pakistan a welfare state as per the vision of Quaid-e-Azam.
While talking to Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif, US Counsel General lauded the personality of CM saying that he is trying his best to serve the people.
