Nancy Pelosi calls for US to de-escalate tensions with Iran

The US House of Representatives’ Speaker Nancy Pelosi has called for the United States to de-escalate tensions with Iran.
In a statement, she said it is essential that we remain fully engaged with our allies, recognize that we are not dealing with a responsible adversary and do everything in our power to de-escalate.
Meanwhile, Iran’s called for the international community to demand the United States to end its “unlawful and destabilizing measures” in the Gulf and said Tehran did not seek war but would act to secure its territory.
