Firdous surprised over issuance show cause notice from ECP to PM

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan says issuance of show cause notice to the Prime Minister for condoling death of his former cabinet member and MNA Ali Muhammad Mahar with his family members is a matter of surprise.
In a tweet, she said the Prime Minister neither talked to the media nor did he make any announcements of development projects there.
The Special Assistant said on the other side, Sindh Government has been committing rigging before by-election in the constituency in Ghotki using official resources.
She said ministers of Sindh Government have been assigned duties for electoral campaign. Besides, hundreds of jobs and development projects have also been announced by the Sindh Chief Minister.
She urged Election Commission of Pakistan to take action over violation of election rules by Sindh Government in Ghotki's NA-205 before by-election.
