China always played a positive role in Afghan peace process: Chinese foreign ministry

An Afghan Taliban delegation which is in Beijing held talks with Chinese officials as part of Afghan peace process.
According to Chinese foreign ministry spokesman, the Taliban delegation led by Abdul Ghani Baradar discussed the Afghan peace process and counter-terror issues.
The spokesman said China has always played a positive role in the Afghan peace and reconciliation process and supports Afghans in resolving their problems themselves through talks.
He said the visit of Taliban delegation is part of China`s reconciliatory role in promoting peace talks.
