North Korea pledges to work with China for true peace in Korean peninsula

BEIJING: North Korea has pledged to cooperate with Chinese officials in the process of opening a new future to secure true peace for the Korean peninsula.
This was stated by the official North Korean News Agency today in the context of meeting between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing yesterday.
The agency said the two leaders assessed the historic meeting between Kim and U.S. President Donald Trump in Singapore last week and came to an understanding on the issue of denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
