Caretaker setup effectively working to conduct fair elections: Ali Zafar

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Syed Ali Zafar has said that the caretaker setup is effectively working to conduct fair, free and transparent elections in the country.
In an interview with a private channel tonight (Wednesday), he said that urgent decisions are being taken in consultation with Election Commission of Pakistan to ensure an impartial election.
He said that the government believes in freedom of expression and PEMRA ordinance was introduced by the government.
He said all grievances of media houses will be addressed to ensure freedom of expression. He said these steps will helpful for a transparent election. AFP
