ISLAMABAD, June 21 (APP): Pak Taekwondo officials to attend courses seminar in China
A ten-member Pakistan Taekwondo contingent will be participating in referring courses and seminars scheduled to be held from June 21 to 29 in China.
According to Waseem Ahmed, President, Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF) the ten-member Pakistan Taekwondo contingent will attend 87th International Kyorugi Referee Seminar, 101st International Kyorugi Referee Refresher Course, 27th International Poomsae Referee Seminar and 25th International Poomsae Referee Refresher Course scheduled to be held from June 21 to 29.
The ten-member Pakistan Taekwondo contingent includes Murtaza Hassan Bangash, Kamran Qamar Kureshi, Nadeem Ahmed, Nisar Ahmed, Malik Altaf Aziz, Malik Muhammad Shahzad, Muhammad Khurram Rasheed, Muhammad Asad Yousuf Zai, Tallah Junaid and Najia Rasool.
He said the individuals have been selected as they are 4th Dan Degree holder or above of Kukkiwon as per selection criteria of World Taekwondo Federation (Referee Division).
He said the main aim to send officials for this course is to get qualification of International Referee so that they can conduct International Level Competitions. By virtue of this they can impart latest rules and regulations to National Referees as well as to athletes.
This is biggest ever contingent of technical officials of this federation. The organization capacity of the federation will be enhanced and quality of refereeing will be visible at National Level.
