Jibran Nasir attacked in Karachi during elections campaign

KARACHI: An angry mob on Friday night attacked the independent candidate Jibran Nasir and his team, they tore down the election campaign posters in metropolis’ Bizerta Lines area.

Jibran Nasir, who is contesting the upcoming polls from PS-111 and NA-247 constituencies, was to hold a corner meeting when a group of angry people reached the site and harassed the party workers and ripped the election posters, authorities stated.

Jibran remained safe as the protestors were unable to harm him.

The independent candidate took the matter to the Twitter and said, “Our workers were beaten in Bizerta Lines by TLP and challenged to enter again.”

He further stated, “We led our team through every lane of Bizerta Lines TLP clashed with us again assaulting male/female workers but we responded with flying kisses.”

Nasir concluded, “Didn’t back down. Won’t back down. Proud of our brave team.”
