IOK: Mirwaiz denounces arrest spree, curbs on political expression

In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has denounced the arrest spree by India’s National Investigative Agency and curbs on political expression in the territory.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar said that curbs, arrests and other intimidating tools won’t end the serious need to address the Kashmir dispute.
He said New Delhi is following the policy of fear-mongering and shows no desire for settlement of the dispute.
The Mirwaiz said the condition of the political prisoners was worsening behind the bars.
