Indian Army brutalities in Kashmir cannot deter freedom struggle: Shehbaz Sharif
LAHORE (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Wednesday in his tweet on atrocities of Indian forces against unarmed Kashmiris said that India was flouting all moral values and norms of civilized behaviour in Kashmir.
Expressing surprise over the silence of world community on barbarities of Indian forces against Kashmiris, molestation of women and blinding of youth, he said that how many more sacrifices Kashmiri people would have to make to awaken the conscience of the world from slumber.
He said that Indian forces could not stifle the spirit of freedom of Kashmiri people through brutalities.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister said that India could not deny Kashmiri people their rights of self-determination through oppressive tactics and use of brutal force. He said that India was continuously violating human rights but Indian aggression could not crush the desire of Kashmiris for freedom.
Shehbaz Sharif said that solution of Kashmir issue in the light of UN resolutions and aspirations of Kashmiri people was essential for a lasting peace in the region.
