*ISLAMABAD – **Khalid Javed Khan to be appointed as Attorney General of Pakistan.*
*The government decided to appoint Khalid Javed Khan as Attorney General of Pakistan on Thursday. *Khalid Javed Khan had ealrady served as Attorney General in the caretaker government.
Sources said that Prime Minsiter Imran Khan decided to appoint him as Attorney General after consulting his legal team.
Earlier on Thursday, Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) Anwar Mansoor Khan resigned from his post. He submitted his resignation letter to President Arif Alvi.
It is pertinent to mention here that Anwar Mansoor resigned after the Pakistan Bar Council demanded his resignation.
