India cancels Dosti bus service and Samjhota express train as caste riots in northern Indian state escalate
LAHORE: Pakistan has cancelled the Dosti Bus service and Samjhota express train on the request  of Indian authorities due to the caste riots in Indian state Haryana.

 

As per details, caste riots have intensified in Indian northern state Haryana and more than 10 men have lost their lives in this caste riots while several sustained injuries.

 

Samjhota express has been cancelled temporarily by Pakistan Railways on the request of Indian authorities over the serious situation in India while Pakistan Tourism Development Department also has cancelled Dosti bus service.

 

Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Railways Javed Anwar has confirmed the cancellation of the train service saying that “India requested us to cancel the train services as there are violent riots taking place in Indian Punjab and cannot guarantee the safety of the passengers”.

 

On the other hand, Dosti bus service Manager said that 20 seats were booked by passengers however, they have been informed over the cancellation of Dosti bus service.
