Punjab Govt takes action against negligence in addressing complaints of PCP

Punjab Government has taken action against the bureaucrats who committed negligence in addressing complaints of citizens they submitted to Pakistan Citizen Portal.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister Office, Assistant Commissioners of DG Khan, Gujrat and Toba Tek Singh have been removed from their positions, besides 31 Assistant Commissioners have been issued show-cause notices while warning letters have been sent to another 20 Assistant Commissioners.
Appreciation letters have also been given to 71 Assistant Commissioners for addressing complaints of citizens.
Performance appraisal of bureaucracy on the basis of statistics of the Citizen Portal is the best example of governance.
